Condition: very good. Nice clean paper with a sharp print and with watermark. Wide margins. Hand-coloured. Text on the back in French.
A nice map of Ceylon/Sri Lanka. The original map is made by Mercator and Hondius in Amsterdam in 1614 by published in a French version of the ‘Atlas Minor´ or “Atlas Minor, traduit du Latin en Français par le Sieur De La Popeliniere, gentilhomme François".
