This is a nice well working Becker car radio with short wave, medium wave, long wave and FM. This is a radio type from the late 1960s, early 1970s and they are indestructible and work well. These radios often came as a standard feature in Mercedes cars. But they were also used in BMW, Jaguar, Audi, and other premium cars. Without the chrome front, this radio can also be used in a classic Porsche 911 and 912. Becker radios are known for the high quality. The radio has a proper reception, with automatic fine-tuning (AFC), strong amplifier, nice sound, and 2 preset buttons for FM. The special thing about this ‘Mexico’ top model is that it has automatic and mechanical channel search. This device has a DIN-connection on the back to which an MP3 player iPhone, or iPod can be connected with a cable.
