F.lli Marchi Brescia - 2 bottle vases made of Incas painted ceramic - 1960s
This wonderful pair of decorative bottles was hand made and painted in the 50s by F.lli Marchi, an artisan company of Brescia, Italy.
The ceramic is crafted and finished in the characteristic Fratelli Marchi style and is therefore rough and terra painted. The illustration depicts two powerful women warriors, each with a beautiful turquoise shield.
These items are ideal for the style of a lounge, maybe on the sides of a fireplace or on two nightstands in a bedroom. They are in perfect condition, not cut and not crazy.
The three small holes that can be seen in one shield, are due to the cooking of the ceramic.
The original lids are not included, because the bottles were used to contain wine and were open for drinking in the past. Cheers! On both sides, there is the mark “prodotto da F.lli Marchi Brescia, dipinto a mano, in Italia”. Height: 28 cm.
Length: 12.5 cm. Width: 4.5 cm.
