In beautiful condition, tested and in working condition

Condition: Very Good Plus

BeoMaster 1900 in very nice condition. The BeoMaster is fully functional. This is design from the top shelf of Jacob Jensen.

Jacob Jensen (Copenhagen, 29 April 1926 – May 15, 2015 Virksund) was a Danish industrial designer.

After his training as upholsterer, he worked in the furniture workshop his father Alfred Jensen (also an upholsterer by profession) had begun in 1947. In 1948 he went to school again, this time to the arts and crafts school. There he followed lessons in the new course 'industrial design'. After graduating, he first worked at a design studio in Copenhagen from 1952 to 1956 and then at a number of studios in the United States. In 1958 he started his own studio, which was taken over by his son Timothy Jacob Jensen in 1990. Jensen limited himself to occasional projects in the last years.

Jensen is one of the most prominent designers of the 20th century. His designs cover a wide area, from music systems, phones and watches to cars and wind turbines. A striking feature of his design style is the minimalist nature. With his pioneering designs of the music systems and television sets for the Danish company Bang & Olufsen, he acquired international recognition and he won many awards. The work of Jensen is included in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York and the Danish Museum of Art & Design in Copenhagen.
