Antique fish serving place setting consisting of large filet knife and large three-pronged fish fork.
The graceful shapes and finish of the place setting and also the design is characteristic for Art Nouveau cutlery of the late 19th century.
Blade and fork of the place setting are silver plated, stylish and richly engraved.
The three-prong is decorated with leaf and cattail patterns. The blade of the knife is provided with a fantasy water creature with leaf and cattail.
The handles of the cutlery are of silver, so-called “argent fourré”, and decorated with delicate flower and leaf garlands.
On the back of the hilts of the serving place setting the “Poinçon Minerve” is applied.

Fish serving place setting is in a very good used condition. No loose parts, dents, broken off pieces or traces of solder-repairs. (also see photos)
This luxury fish serving place setting will be shipped in the original case. Fabric of the lid of the cassette is slightly worn by the hinges and the clasp on the front has unfortunately not survived the test of time. The red velvet however, is still beautiful and intact.
Total weight incl case: ca. 800 g.
Due to the good condition of the cutlery, it is perfectly suited for proper use.
Very decorative and an ornament for the table.
