‘Longines’ pocket watch, hand-wound, made from 750‰ (18 kt) gold, model: ‘ Grand Prix D'honneur’, inspected by Longines customer service in San Remo, Italy, estimated date of manufacture: 1902/1903. Prize-winner at the Paris-Milan-Brussels world fairs.
What is especially unique about this watch is the stamp on the dial and the engraving on the internal case which specified that this watch was made expressly for ‘Carlos U. Perret" by Rosario Argentina, the famous Swiss watchmaker who emigrated to Argentina with his father, also a watchmaker, where he set up a shop in 1895.
750‰ gold, double gold casing, can be opened with a pushbutton on the inside of the crown.

Longines hand-wound mechanical movement, series: 1915271, functions perfectly.
Feature: the tuning system that works by pulling out a lever in the case edge before you can rotate the crown to fine-tune the clock.
Dial: Champagne colour with very light shading due to age, perfect crystal without scratches.
Aspect: Excellent condition, also some small signs of denting still visible and some small scratches due to age
