Cretaceous (approx. 100 million years old) - Myanmar/ Burma
You are bidding on selected inclusions from one of the largest collections in Germany, which consists of Amber from all over the world (Baltic, Dominican Republic, Mexico and Burma) and which I am offering for auction due to age-related reasons.
Authenticity, quality and rarity are guaranteed partly suitable for museums, which concerns an estimated percentage of e.g. 1% of various finds.
Burmit is known as the sort of Amber with the most inclusions and there are more kinds known of it than from all over deposits combined.
During Cretaceous, when dinosaurs were alive, first various flora objects developed like blossoms, leaves and moss.
In a honey-coloured small long stone 1.7 x 0.7 cm a rarity of a perfectly preserved down-like Dino feather 0.6 cm with keel as well as a rare fly love pair (in copula), mite, mosquito and large fly.
This beautiful delicate feather rays show nodes (moduli) in regular intervals and stem from small non-flying dinosaur birds like Deinonychus or Velociraptors.
The value of an inclusion stone mainly depends on the rarity and it is less than 0.5% in this case.
Which proofs: The smaller, the more valuable “It’s not the size that matters but the content.”
4 photos of multi-layer shots (approx. 25 photos were stacked to a sharp image) document this museum-like exhibit.
