Venice/Murano, 1930-1935 – pristine condition
Vintage strand with very rare millefiori beads made between 1930-1935 by Antonio Vaccari, one of the most important bead makers from Venice/Murano. The very same beads are listed in "Venetian Glass Beads - a long and fascinating story" from Giacomo De Carlo, plate 7.
Strand is ca. 69 cm. The spacer beads are also Murano-glass but probably more recent (50's).
Millefiori beads: ca 17 mm
Spacer beads: ca 6 - 8 mm
Total weight: 88 grams.
Pristine condition, from an old stock on Murano. Some oxidation on the bead caps due to being stocked over 50 years in a humid warehouse.
Will be carefully wrapped and shipped with track and trace.
