Our specialist for speed, chassis & performance, Mr. Hayabusa, Elmar Geulen (“Mr. Hayabusa” is actually entered in his ID card!), seven-time world record holder, i.a. also with machines without fairing, has put a great deal of his experience into the setting of this machine.
After an extensive test drive with this burgundy metallic coloured motorcycle no. 234 (a BMW colour of the early 70s), he drove a normally patented one in Opel green (several copies exist in this colour as well) around the block, and he concluded very proudly, referring to the adjustments he made:
“We have progressed many light years, this is the path Friedel would have taken as well.”
