Upper Cretaceous approx. 100 million years - Myanmar Burma
You are bidding on selected inclusions from one of the largest collections in Germany, which consists of Amber from all over the world (Baltic, Dominican Republic, Mexico and Burma), which I am offering for auction due to age-related reasons. Authenticity, quality and rarity are guaranteed, party suitable for museums, which concerns an estimated percentage of less than 1% of all finds.
Burmit is the name of an Amber gemstone, found in the Eocene (approx. 100 million year old deposit site in Myanmar).
Burmit is known as the sort of Amber with the most enclosures and there are more kinds known of it than from all other deposits combined.
In this Cretaceous, where dinosaurs lived, first various flora objects developed like blossoms, leaves and moss.
In a honey-coloured Cabuchon 2.3 x 1.5 cm is a perfectly preserved snail shell with a 2 cm long BRANCH enclosed, can be used for jewellery.
The value of an inclusion stone mainly depends on the rarity and it’s approx. 0.5% here.
