155 x 188 cm. Antique collector's carpet. 1880.
|Material:||Wool on wool|
|Condition:||Overall in good condition with traces of ageing and usage|
Beautiful, antique, authentic Hatchlou, these carpets were hung in front of the entrance of the yurt, the nomadic tent.
Made around 1860–1880, and still has a wonderful gloss!
With a central mihrab shape, placed above each other.
Beside these two panels with the triangular "Gusch" pattern. Tree of life?
In the main border is the X-shape, the "Naldag" pattern.
High quality carpets, these carpets do not belong on the floor; they weren't used like that in the past either. Just like a piece of art,
this carpet deserves to be hung on a wall.
This gives it a very beautiful appearance which is better than many paintings.
And in addition, it is an investment with growth potential as well.
Will be sent by registered and insured mail, using Post NL.
