17th century copper engraved map of Guernsey together with 19th century steel engraved map of the Channel Islands
1. Garnsey or Sarina (1695)
Dimensions: 12 x 15,7 cm
Condition: Reasonable/good. Map is a fragment cut out of a larger map by Morden. The upper and left margins are added to allow for framing. Clean and strong paper. Never folded. Hand coloured. Reverse side blank.

2. Channel Islands (1855)
Dimensions: 25,4 x 39,1 cm
Condition: Good condition. Some light creases and the original folds (as published). Borderline coloured. Ample margins. Reverse side blank.
19th century steel engraved map by Rapkin, published in London. Showing the Channel Islands of Guernsey (to the top) & Jersey (to the bottom).
Each map provides excellent topographic details on cities, towns, rivers, lakes, bays, mountains etc. A decorative border surrounds the maps of the two islands.
