Description of the Central as shown on the Märklin website: The Central Station combines the widely used protocols Motorola, MFX and DCC with a large colour touchscreen with 2 controller desks for easy and comfortable controlling of the locomotives. The locomotives can be displayed with colour icons. Furthermore, the Central Station has an integrated Märklin Digital - locomotive data bank and two built-in locomotive card readers (for storing locomotive data on a locomotive card and for quickly calling up the locomotive by inserting the locomotive card). MFX-locomotives are automatically recognized and included on the locomotives list with all their properties. In addition, a powerful integrated booster for the running/switching power of the model track, 20 (DCC: 128) keyboards for the control of up to 320 (DCC: 2048) magnetic accessories, a signal control board and an integrated roadway control system (incl. commuter train system). The Central Station can control multiple devices, i.e. via the optional cable (60123) several Central Stations (60214 or 60215) may be used together on a model rail track, where the Central Stations may hold common and individual configurations for the relevant model rail track segments. The Central Station has a built-in USB connection (for example, for mouse, keyboard, USB-stick) and a network connection for communication with a PC. Power handling support rail: max. 5 A, power handling at programming rail: max. 1.2 a.
