Mercedes-Benz - 560 SL - R107 - 1987

Mercedes Benz 560 SL Chassis number: WDBBA48D2HA070043 The R107 replaced the W113 (Pagoda) in 1971, and was succeeded by the W126C for coupe models (SLC in 1981, and by the R129 for convertible models (SL) in 1989. Some changes regarding the engine were already implemented in 1976; the electronic (Bosch D-jetronic) was replaced by the mechanical (Bosch KA-jetronic) fuel injection in all models. In comparison with other engines on the American market, the Mercedes models were always poorly motorised. This is why Mercedes decided to introduce the 560SL (BM 107.048) in 1983. The 5.6-litre V8 engine (M117E52) produced 227 hp (4750 rpm) and 366Nm (4000 rpm). This 560 model was only available for the US market. From 1991 until now, the car has only had 1 owner and it was always used in California. The car is entirely in good technical condition and thus drives properly. Paintwork is in neat overall condition, but was repainted once in the past. Solid car, shows no signs of corrosion. In short, a very nice and well-driving car with naturally some traces of wear. Very good investment - prices are currently increasing! Margin: Yes (already imported into the Netherlands, VAT and import duties were paid in full). Papers / registration: USA title Here you can find a video of the car: https://youtu.be/yR1M4uW6Ulc This Mercedes-Benz can be viewed and picked up in Roelofarendsveen, the Netherlands. We would appreciate it if you could stop by to view the car before placing a bid, so to prevent disappointment afterwards, “We have fresh coffee”.
