(From 1914, Bernardo Fissore began working as a wheelwright, repairing farm wagons and carriages in a small workshop of blacksmith in Savigliano. Thanks to this specialisation, "Fissore" saw a great development during the Second World War, for the many supplies commissioned by the Italian Army of civilian vehicles, converted for military use. In the 1950s, several offshore trucks were produced based on the most popular FIAT models, as well as a large number of advertising vehicles, at that time particularly popular with consumer products companies, to attend large sports events such as the "Giro d'Italia" or "Mille Miglia". The Carrozzeria Fissore reached, in the sixties, the maximum expansion, reaching more than 200 employees. In that decade, they had many collaborations with prestigious automakers for the creation of luxurious Gran Turismo, especially with Maserati, De Tomaso, Opel, Monteverdi, TVR, Vemag and Mitsubishi)
