1970s Zenta by Matsumoko Lawsuit era Made in Japan P Bass Copy

This is a Zenta Lawsuit era P Bass Copy made in the late 1960s or early 1970s in the Matsumoko Factory - these were made and distributed via JHS in England and often sold through department stores. This one has an interesting Gibson Type pickup rather than the standard Fender type P Bass pickup , a solid maple body that has a flame in the wood. Chrome hardware and in excellent condition for its age with little fret wear and very tiny marking to the edge - chrome is excellent and the electrics work well with a strong punchy tone very much like mid 70s Pink Floyd Roger Waters bass sound. All in all a great and pretty unique bass made in Japan by a quality manufacturer who went onto build Aria guitars and basses.
