Very rare Hickory era collectable golf clubs to play or to display

1) Harry Gibb “Meteor” patented Driver
2) The Glasgow Golf Company Mashie

1) Driver, in original condition, made in 1920
The persimmon head, has on the crown the Cleekmark, written in golden letters,into two golden line
H. Gibb
Also is written “Reg.d”in golden letters , this driver was patented

H.Gibb was wery well knew golfer and was the professional at Bamburgh Golf Club, He in 1928 did the course record ( 66, a impressive score for the era)

The head has a line scored face,and originals 3 wood pin
The shaft is in Hickory ,straight, no defects
Has the original leather grip,
Lenght 43 inches

2) This Mashie was forged from “The Glasgow Golf Company” about 1919
The Glasgow Golf Company was founded by Charles Millar who starter as a clubmaker in the 1895, He registered the “Thistle” cleekmark (the Scotland symbol) in 1907
In 1920 Millar emigrate in Canada

The club has two cleekmarks
The Glasgow Golf Company under the Thistle
Thistle Brand Registered

On the Head is also
Hand Forged in Scotland

The shaft is in hickory straight with no defects
The grip is the original leather grip
