IWC - Schaffhausen - ref: 31457 - Men - 1901-1949

Beautiful, entirely silver International Watch Co. (IWC) Schaffhausen pocket watch from 1911. The case number is 533046, the movement number is 508804 and it's marked with the Swiss patent number 31457. Research on the internet indicates that the watch is from 1911 and has a Lep. calibre 57 19lig.H6. movement. It's approx. 51 mm in diameter and is entirely made of 0.800 silver. Both inner lids are marked with the case number, 0.800 and multiple stamps (including 'probus scafusia IWC'). The inner lid is also marked with the name in full: 'International Watch Co.' The back features a beautiful grid pattern and isn't engraved with a name or inscription. The dial is in beautiful condition. White with blued hands and a seconds sub-dial. All in truly very neat condition (optically 8.5/10), and the watch also works well. The hands can be adjusted by pushing the pin next to the crown, while simultaneously turning the crown. Furthermore, this beautiful, authentic and rare pocket watch comes in a lovely and authentic vintage pocket watch box from Aachen, Germany. Please take a very good look at the many photos. These provide the best impression of what to expect. Offered without a reserve price! (NO RESERVE!) In short... An entirely silver IWC Schaffhausen pocket watch in great condition, dating from 1911! Naturally, this item will be well packaged and shipped registered (insured).
