Two cheese tins, produced between 1920 and 1970.
Spherical cheese tins by Frico Leeuwarden. These cheese tins were produced by the Dutch United Tin Factories.
The tins are made of two halves; round and curved, with a plate in between. The height of the tins is 13 cm. The diameter is 17 cm.
Decoration: red with gold and black edges and lettering. Text: ‘Frico Leeuwarden’ and on the other side it says ‘Kruiwagen Kaas/Wheelbarrow Cheese.
The first production of these tins was in 1920. The last tins left the production lines in 1970.
