Two paintings made in 1800/1850 found in the basement of a house. They depict two different subjects. Not framed and in need of restoration. One of the paintings comes from the Winsor and Newton gallery in London, founded in the 19th century.
It seems that both the paintings are by the same artists.
One of the two is incomplete in the sense that a part of the portrait (ear) was not completed, it seems because of the artist's death.
Painting of the count of Montefeltro (portrait with coffin and moustache and ruff) size h 60 x 50 width
