Rolls-Royce - Corniche Convertible - 1970

This Rolls Royce Silver Shadow was recently imported from the USA to the Netherlands. The car was delivered new in France and has spent a long time in Monaco. Early 80s it was taken to the US. It hasn’t driven much during the last few years, after the death of the previous owner it was sold and shipped to the Netherlands. The body doesn’t have any rust and the bottom is hard. No welding required. The paint shows a lot of craquellé, cracks in the varnish, caused by the sun. This is visible in one of the photos. Please note the car only needs new paint. The engine runs well, but one of the head gaskets needs to be replaced. The automatic gearbox is in good order and shifts great. The leather interior is neat and tidy, as well as the wood and chrome work. The outside chrome is very nice, except for a small corner on the front bumper. The car should have a comprehensive service as it stood still for a long time. All the electric components work well. All four electric windows work well, as well as the electric chair control. The air conditioning should be filled, the pump works properly. The soft top is neat but needs to be cleaned. In short, a nice project, it can be turned into a nice, stately Roll Royce convertible at reasonable cost. The car comes with American papers and the import duties have been paid. Upon request, transport is available at an additional cost. The car can be viewed in Valkenswaard, the Netherlands. It is recommended to view the car before placing a bid.
