Second half 20th century, Egyptian museum Berlin - limited replica - 981 pieces
Berlin's 'green head' is an old Egyptian sculpture and is housed in the Egyptian Museum of Berlin, not far from the Nefertiti Bust. It is considered as the work of a highly qualified (although unknown) ancient Egyptian sculptor, as well as one of the most famous and credited works of art from the late and Ptolemaic period periods of ancient Egypt. Just like the original work the sculpture is made of a certain type of green rock and has faithfully replicates the damage of the original specimen. The bust is mounted on a stone pedestal.
It is a truthful and limited museum replica.
Size: 31 x 15 x 12 cm.
Weight: 8.5 kg.
Condition: In good condition The back of the sculpture appears scraped, but this is not obvious. See the last photo.
Will be carefully packed and sent by registered mail or can be collected in Amsterdam.
