Sterling silver 925/1000, 28.5 cm, total 7424.8 gr gross, 140-pieced, a rare production.

Offered, a new sterling-silver case of Wilkens, 8-person. Model 'Schloss Gripsholm'.
The casing is entirely unused and of solid silver, since the purchase in the 80 ‘s.
She is new and in ‘factory finish’ condition. This applies to all pieces.
The wooden cassette case was handmade for the special combination of its content, and is of edel wood (hardwood).
The manufacturer - Wilkens - is German, and all was Made in Germany (Bremen).
It is one of the worlds leading manufacturers of silverware.
The total weight of 0.925 Sterling silver is 7424.8 grams, or 7.425 kg.
This is including the stainless-steel part of the table knives and the cheese slicer, which could not be made of silver because of their function.
The largest single piece is the soup ladle (2nd from the left) in the top drawer. This is 28.5 cm long and weighs 173.4 grams.
Presently this model is only made in the 0.800 silver variant, so this 0.925 sterling version is a real opportunity for the enthusiast.
Additional photos can be sent and nonobligatory viewing in case of serious interest is of course possible.
The sales price is obviously not only determined by the silver content, the weight and daily rate of the silver.

Due to the weight of the casing pick-up is preferred. Upon arrangement delivery is also possible.
The cassette can, in consultation with the seller, also be shipped. The shipping costs incl. insurance are for the buyer.
