Like Rolex, IWC, Jaeger and Breitling, Omega has a special place among the group of exclusive Swiss watches. This also applies to this beautiful vintage Omega Crosshair two-tone dial automatic men's watch from around 1959. The beefy lugs case is a solid gold Dennison in 9 kt and it has a lovely, above all nostalgic, inscription on the back. This could be removed by polishing, but it does allow the Omega to tell a story from times gone by.

The sword hands and the two-tone cross-hair dial, resembling a pie pan, show the patina that can be expected on a watch like this, and are proof of non-revised authenticity. The Plexiglas and the original crown were replaced. They're rarely found as beautifully vintage and original as this, a must-have for any serious Omega enthusiast.

Everything is in beautiful, vintage, unpolished condition and the watch runs very accurately, thanks to servicing. The photos speak for themselves...

The Omega comes with a generic watch box, fitted with an unused leather strap with original Omega buckle and will be sent insured, free of charge.

    Prima snelle levering.

  • Item is great however the bezel was broken and not attached to the watch. I was aware that it was not the original, but there was no mention of it being broken or non- functional in the auction.

Thank you for the purchase and the feedback. The bezel is a speedmaster fixed bezel attached afterwards. I think it must come off during the shipping. It should easily be attached by a watchmaker or if you can find the authentic non fixed diver bezel, then it could be a far more valuable watch. Enjoy this timeless piece and again thanks for your feedback.
