This Tsantsa is a shrunken head comes from the Jivaro (Ecuador) tribe, which is used in the ceremonies that followed a head-hunting expedition.
Smooth skin is dark brown color. Prognathous head, upturned nose, lips closed by three links, the eyelids sewn and notch at the back of the neck are characteristic of this corpus.
The suspension cord that was used has wear around the neck has disappeared but are location is still visible.

This Tsantsa is a shrunken head from the Jivaro (Ecuador) tribe, used in the ceremonies following a head-hunting expedition.

The suspension cord that was used to wear around the neck has vanished but the location is still visible.
