c. 1950, Montelupo, Italy
Pair of hand-painted plates by Mancioli ceramics manufacture for F.B.C., dating back to the 50s, mainly for the American market, rarely available in Europe.
Size 28 cm
They are fully modelled and decorated by hand, and have "a story in history".
They were submerged in the tragic flooding of the Arno river the 4th November 1966, and then recovered over time, through a meticulous cleanup.
Over the years the company has created prestigious collaborations, one with "Tiffany &Co." in New York, for which Bisque porcelain objects have been created; or the one with the London's "Victoria & Albert Museum", and more recently with "Bulgari", for a line of porcelain jewellery "Great light, gold and gems".
This is to certify that this porcelain item comes from the production of the 50s by Mancioli.
