Very beautiful pocket watch of John Wayne with chain under a bell jar.
24 K gold-plated with the portrait of John Wayne. 
Rare.
Issued by Franklin Mint. 
The portrait of John Wayne is 24 k gold plated on a silver-plated background with a narrow gold-plated bezel.
Surrounded by a lavishly decorated silver plated ring.
The rest of the outside of the pocket watch plus the chain are also 24 k gold plated.
On the dial are the initials of John Wayne.
Also the stand is fully 24 k gold plated and has a green velvet inlay.
The bell jar is made of glass with a wooden base which has a black velvet inlay. 
On the base is a 24 k gold plated plaque with the text: John Wayne Collector Watch.
When the stand is in the bell jar there is space under the stand to store a chain.
The whole set is in very good condition, however, the wooden foot has some really minor paint damage which can easily be removed with a marker.
In reality it’s more beautiful than on the pictures, silver and gold is hard to photograph.
