C.P. Goerz - Field artillery binoculars on tripod, WWI

This is an original pair of WWI German field artillery binoculars. The text marked on this gauge is: C.P. Goerz Berlin S.F. Fussartillerie (ground artillery), with model number 270 (early 20th century). The object brings along a piece of history and due to its robust appearance it is an asset for an industrial interior. The field-scope is entirely original and complete and in used condition with traces of age (see photos). It comes with the original tripod, marked "Ertel & Sohn München" which has an adjustable height. Ertel & Sohn primarily made measuring instruments from the late 1800s to the early 1900s. Information: if one should want to use these binoculars: All settings still function well. The left inner lens has a break, presumably from a fall or something like that. The view is obstructed by dirt; it is still about 50%, cleaning is advised. The material is iron and copper. Height of the tripod (without the binoculars): 140 cm, it is 85 cm high when retracted. Height of the binoculars is 46 cm. The maximum total height of the entire object is approx. 180 cm. Weight: 9.8 kg. Will be sent by registered and insured post, can also be picked up.
