Solid cheese cutter on a cast iron base, unheated, with marble slab and wood handle.
The cutting thickness is adjustable to 8 positions with 2 rotary knobs.

Brand: Unika (Belgium), the sticker has faded, see pictures.
Period: around 1950 
(NB these cutters are still sold in virtually the same form, 
but nowadays with plastic lever knob and blade.))

Dimensions: approximately 40 x 40 x 20 cm (15.8 x 15.8 x 7.9 inches) 

Weight: 10 kilos

Condition: fair to good; the paint on the mount and the rotary knobs is worn, 
Light wear on the edges of the marble top. 
At the bottom there’s a crack visible in the frame and 
minor damage to the aluminium, see pictures. 

Technical: good; the machine is completely cleaned, the knife is in neat condition and 
the knobs for the cutting thickness work.
