The photograph was released to the Houston Chronicle newspaper to promote an exhibit showcasing Mexican photojournalism at the Houston Center for Photography in 1986. The image can be found in the permanent photography collection of the Fundacion Televisa, Mexico City.
Sergio Toledano is a Mexican photographer who was fostered by Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton during the period the couple lived in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in the early 60's.
