Beautiful naval chronometer from 1977 with 56 hours power reserve, signed Thomas Mercer, St. Albans, England.
Wooden casing in good condition, silver-plated dial with Arabic numerals, two dials for 56 hours power reserve and seconds. Blued hands.
The dial is signed and numbered with no. 29073, spring balancer movement with fusee and wire cable, chronometer escapement, free-standing spiral spring (coiled spring), bimetallic balance wheel with mass weights and regulatory screws, movement gimballed, 19 cm high.
Metal casing with screwed glass bezel.
Winding key with built-in lock.
Dial with smaller flaws as seen in the picture. The chronometer works, sold without guarantee.
