Large counter mirror with a carved and gilt wood frame
Style: Louis Philippe
Origin: Tuscany, Italy. Dating: from the second half of the 19th century.
Dimensions: 100 x height 190 cm
SPECS. The upper part of the frame shows a high quality carving, with a floral motif decoration, which you can find also on the bottom part. The inner part of the frame is decorated with a ribbon pattern and golden beads. Probably, as many other counter mirrors, it was placed on the mantelshelf or on a console table in a large hall. It underwent some conservative restoration works, but is in good overall condition, and suitable for elegant rooms.
