Serge Lassus was born in 1933 in the Basque Country (South-West of France). He entered the Ecole des Arts appliqués in Paris with some of the best results and upon leaving the school, he was chosen to illustrate the golden book of Paris.
From then on, he dedicated himself to painting and lithography from his studio in Bordeaux, allowing him to easily return to the Basque Coast. Now settled near Cannes, he has exhibited across France and abroad, particularly in Japan, in big cities in North America (New York, Los Angeles) and Europe (Alicante, Oslo, Stuttgart, Madrid).
