Competition organised by Pope Pius XII From a private collection. Without frame Various dimensions for each plate all between 8x5 cm weight each plate 0.50 grams approx. - various dimensions but still miniatures - as shown in the photos. the only heavier plate was shown in the photos, weight about 180 grams all signed, except one - the Nativity in cave - 6 x 4 .5 cm slightly oval - There is also the triptych - Jesus Nativity - Pax hominibus bonae voluntatis - Luca II XIV signed with coat of arms E. Senesi Historical-critical news: The panel was presented at the competition for the fifth door of the Milan Cathedral in 1950 and, along with other selected sketches, it was exhibited at the IX Triennale in Milan in 1951.
