Serviced 8 days mechanical movement with alarm function
Up for auction is a 1950's Jaeger-leCoultre 8 days travel alrm clock. This clock has been cleaned and oiled and a new balance staff has been fitted. It now runs very well and the alarm works nicely. The black leather on the case is in very good condition. The sides of the case has some minor chips (see the pictures, they are part of the description). The gold plated bezel has some minor spots. The silver dail is in pristine condition. It is signed Jaeger-leCoultre, 8 and swiss made T. The hands are in good condition as well. The crown winds the mainspring (clockwise) and the alarm spring (counter clockwise). Pull it out to set the time. Push the button on the crown to set the alarm time. Gently push the clock into the case to stop the alarm. This beautiful clock measures 9,5cm high, 6,5cm wide and 10cm deep when standing and 11cm x 6,5cm x 2,5cm when folded.
