The 7002 7010, series 5, is a watch that is very difficult to come by, and so is very valuable for collector's. It was produced in small numbers in Japan from the end of 1989 until December 1990, and it was only produced with the pepsi bezel. This Seiko does not conform to the framework of the Japanese watchmaker's as the dial is not dark blue, but anthracite black, with raised, silver-edged rectangular markers. As it is equipped with a 7002 movement, the watch displays only the date, another element which is unique, as all the other Seiko watches from the series 5 have a day/date display. Another unusual feature is the tachymetric scale on a time-only watch. Green luminescence. Dial code: 7002 701 R R2. It can therefore be considered a prototype, given that few pieces were produced; a 10 bar that is the progenitor of the successive 10 bar equipped with calibre 7S26. The original strap was made of rubber, but over the years it has hardened, so it has been replaced with a nylon strap, black Nato model. Case diameter: 40 mm. Strap size: 20 x 240 mm.
