Measures 12 by 19 cm on a sheet of watermarked laid paper of 26 by 18 cm.
Condition: Very good inside the plate border, some hand tinted details, the large margins a bit soiled.

One dromedary and the camel copied after Marcus Gheeraerts I (1516/21 - c.1590) or Marcus Gheeraerts II (1561 - 1635) as stated by the British Museum). The British museum has this series but in a very damaged condition.
This is a first state as published in Antwerp around 1597 with the publisher address of Adrian Collaert, before the later publishers addresses of Theodor and Jan Galle.
