Good impressions, complete with visible plate mark.
Condition generally good. Autumn with closed tear and some work to the bottom right corner.
1.Spring; young woman crowned with a garland of flowers and holding a garland in each hand, cartouche ornamented with flowers
2.Summer; woman standing in a cornfield crowned with ears of corn, holding a sheaf of corn and a scythe, cartouche surmounted by corn
3.Autumn; a satyr leaning against a tree with a vine wrapped around it, holding a bunch of grapes; cartouche surmounted by bunches of grapes
4.Winter; old cloaked man warming his hands above a brazier; cartouche surmounted by bare branches
Series of four prints: De Vesme suggest only the human figures were the work of Stefano della Bella, and the ornament work was by Abraham Bosse.

Stefano della Bella ( 1610-1664)
Etcher, born Florence; patronised by the Medici, spent much time in Rome from 1633-9. To Paris in train of the Florentine ambassador to France in 1639, where remained working for French publishers until the anti-Italian disturbances of the Fronde in 1650 took him back to Florence.
