An engraving made for the French King at the very end of his reign. A few years before the French revolution. A last glimpse of " a grandiose" unequalled in history. This wonderful engraving was made circa 1785 in Paris and shows one of the paintings of the Royale Palace. It was made only a few years before the French revolution. This high standard work was ordered by the King to show the wealth of his art collection and excuded by the finest engravers of his time.
