A very large figure in typichal Sichuan syle, depicting a female dancer. Made of red pottery, in two parts. On the surface the remains of red and white pigments can be seen. He head of the lady with an eleborate heddress with flowers. Condition: very good, no traces of repair, there is a stanle hairline in the neck of the figure, caused by the wright of the head. A thermoluminescence test from Ralf Kotalla confirms the age of this item and is included in the sale.
Provenance: Dutch private collection. Collected in the 1990's.
