The plesiosaur (Greek “lizard”: almost saurian) are a group of extinct reptiles, that lived from the late Triassic to the end of the Cretaceous in the sea and went extinct at the same time the dinosaurs did.
As sea creatures they had an elongated body and four paddle-shaped fins. They belonged, like today’s lizards and snakes to the Lepidosauromorpha and are divided into two different taxa: the long-neck and the small-head actual Plesiosaurs (Plesiosauroidea) and the Pliosaurs (Pliosauroidea), with a characteristically short strong neck and a large head with long snout.

I received the 2 dinosaur teeth quickly, but one of the teeth was broken in half. In fairness, I did not raise this as a problem with the seller so I’m not complaining that he did not address it.
