Antique tribal Jaff Kurdish bag front, NW Persia, 82 x 62 cm
Fourth quarter of the 20th century, hand-knotted by the Jaff nomads in the Kurdistan province, in the north west of Persia.
The bag front is in original and used condition, with a low pile, made of high-quality shiny wool.
Original edges and both ends were shortened.
Traditional, geometrical pattern of diamond shapes in alternating colours.
Beautiful, full, warm colours.
