Size 30,5 x 25,5 cm - untrimmed drawing with original "old" peg holes
Untrimmed original production drawing from the Disney feature film "Pinocchio" (1940).
Character: Stromboli (he is a puppeteer, showman, and gypsy with an ambition to make good money even if it's at the expense of others).
This drawing is from a scene of Stromboli's animator, Vladimir (Bill) Tytla.
In the upper right corner are the production number 2003, the sequence number 4.2 and the scene number 3.
With the original watermark in the paper ("Management Bond, A Hammermill Product", see last photo).
Pinocchio was the second full lenght film and a milestone of Disney animation.
The film won two Academy Awards in 1941.
Size of illustration: 30.5 x 25.0 cm, size of Stromboli: 18.5 x 18.0 cm
I bought this drawing approximately 1992 in one of the "Howard Lowery auctions".
A unique piece of animation history from "the golden age of animation"!
