1952-1960, the Netherlands, ceramic, in good condition
Delftware handmade tobacco jar of the Koninklijke Plateelbakkerij Goedewaagen. Beautiful images on the front of tobacco pickers with behind them the boat for the export of the tobacco, on the other side of the jar is a typical Dutch Tulip.
These jars were manufactured after WWII (the Dutch Tulip will then appear on their works).
The jar is in excellent condition. Dimensions are 20 cm high including the lid, diameter on the widest point is 16 cm.
Marked on the bottom with two crossing pipes - Goedewaagen - Holland.
Plateelbakkerij Goedewaagen developed from a pipes factory to a leading company in decorative earthenware and contemporary pottery, is still in operation.
