Aegidius Sadeler II ( 1570 - 1629)
Flemish painter and engraver; son of Aegidius I; greatest engraver of the Sadeler family; trained in Antwerp; c.1579 to Cologne; c.1588 to Munich; in Italy (Rome 1593, Verona, Venice 1595-7), 1597 in Prague at the court of Rudolph II; died in Prague.
Paul Bril (1553/ - 1626)
Painter, draughtsman and etcher. Younger brother of the painter Matthijs. Born in Breda or Antwerp around 1554; trained in Antwerp; left in 1574 and travelled to Breda and Lyon. No Flemish work known. To Rome, working with his brother from around 1582 where specialist in landscape and active in St Luke Guild. Remained there the rest of his life, and had major influence on Italian landscape painting.
