Giuseppe Recco (Naples, 1634 – Alicante, 29 May 1695) was an Italian painter, specialising in still lifes and active mainly in Spain and Naples in the Baroque period.
Born in Naples to a family of painters, he probably learned the art from his father Giacomo and uncle Giovan Battista, then perfected his technique in still lifes with master Paolo Porpora.
His children, Niccolò and Elena, were also painters. Much of his work was painted in Spain where his work became particularly popular.
His style is often compared to that of another Neapolitan master of still lifes, also a pupil of Porpora: Giovan Battista Ruoppolo.
Giuseppe Recco died in Alicante, Spain in 1695.
