Exceptional good impression. With nice plate tone on watermarked laid paper. In a full sheet with margins. Plate border outside the sheet bottom right.
A printing quality with such exceptional tonality and detail can only be found on early impressions, here in the series as published by Jean Le Blond I (1590-1666)

Gabriel Perelle ( Vernon-sur-seine 1603 - Paris 1677.)
Painter and engraver. Son of a farmer, discovered by the "Seignieur" where he was servant. Later worked with Simon Vouet. He worked after the good contemporain French artists but kept a very personal touch.
