You could call this work an occasional work, because it came into being after the Treaty of Maastricht and was commemorated in 2017 because of the 25th anniversary. This work does not speak out about pro or against Europe.
The rainbow as a sign of hope, its meaning in several languages quoted from various dictionaries and written there symbolizes the differences between cultures and nationalities and thus the need for conversation and consultation between the different countries.

This is original work from the private collection of the artist.
Photo with Ria and the Commissioner of the King in Brabant, Wim van de Donk.
