The Brownie E was made between 1947 and 1957, in two models and this is the early model from 1947 to 1953. It has the metal forward winding button.
It has a meniscus F11 lens 100 mm and a simple leaf shutter. On the side four settings including portrait lens and B. With carrying strap and customs seal, this camera really is in almost new condition. Includes an ever-ready bag.
The Brownie C was made from 1946 to 1957 in two models, the first from 1946 to 1953 and the second from 1953 to 1957 and both offered in this lot. The main difference is the front plate. It has the same lens and shutter as the Brownie E, but only normal and B setting.
The early edition is in excellent condition, the other has some loose covering and paint damage/light rust on the side of the front plate. They will also be supplied with two ever-ready bags, one of these of poor quality.
The cameras have not been tested for settings or with film, but are meant for the display cabinet. The lot will be packaged well sent by registered mail.
