Untrimmed original production layout drawing from the Disney feature film "The Fox and the Hound" (1981).
Characters: Chief (the hunter's old dog) and Tod (the fox).
This layout drawing is attributed to Ken Anderson (March 17, 1909 - December 13, 1993).
Ken Anderson was an art director and writer at Walt Disney Animation Studios for 44 years!
The Fox and the Hound has been the last film which was worked on with animation legends like Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston, two members of Walt Disney's original "Nine Old Men" who has also worked on this film, with it being the last film for both.
Size of illustration: 77 x 32 cm, size images: 64 x 19.5 cm
Paper is folded in the middle, has wrinkles from production and a small crack (2 cm) at the folding (see last photo).
This drawing was bought approximately 1995 from "Van Eaton Galleries".
With Certificate of Authenticity (COA) from Van Eaton Galleries.
